Bio
Jodi Blu is currently in the lab working on her second album entitled The Experience. She wants people who are still a little confused about the genre of R&B/ Soul to understand and experience what music from the soul is. Her first mixtape entitled The Blu's Cafe brought attention to her in the streets as being an artist that is serious about her craft and hear to make a name for herself.
Jodi was inspired by the great singers of the Oldies but Goodies era: Phyllis Hyman, Chaka Khan, and Billie Holiday. As well as new age Soul artists: Jazmine Sullivan, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu.
She isn't like other artists because she takes the time to write her own songs and engulf the passion of the wholeness from the beats to the vocals. Jodi strives to tell stories through her music. Striving to be one of the greatest songwriters and singers in her decade.
