Bio
Jinxy Bear is a Las Vegas based singer/songwriter with a unique acoustic guitar style with songs written from his experiences and observations as an introvert. His guitar style was created during the summer of 2011 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania as a response to life stress.
His style was originally influenced by the band Primus, but has since grown into an interesting experiment in creativity. Combining alternative tuning, multiple/specialty capo's, and a percussive tap-slapping technique, Jinxy Bear plays an acoustic guitar more like a bass guitar, providing guitar, bass, and drums in one experience.
Jinxy Bear's music can't easily be place within a genre due to his unique approach to songwriting, but upon listening you will find the distinctive sound of blues. It would be safe to describe the jinxy Bear sound as Modern Blues for Generation X.
