Jay Silence and The Firewater Band

Jay Silence and The Firewater Band, a Denver/Boulder - based, five-piece Country/Rock band whose music reflects their lives and the lives they lived as musicians. Songs and stories ranging from love and heartbreak, parties, drinking and the night life, and optimism living in The United States of America.

The band originated in early 2019 by founding member and singer/songwriter, Jay Silence (lead vocals, guitar). Tony Weise (lead guitar, backup vocals) and Brad Hacker (bass) joined soon after; along with Scott Spanbauer (pedal steel, rhythm guitar), Goose (drums), and Jason Klobnak (Trumpet on Cold Wind). The band is a melting pot of musical experience and genres and includes members from around the United States including Bristol, Tennessee; Chicago, New York, and founding member Jay Silence being born and raised in Colorado.

The band is currently recording their debut album, “American Free,” in Boulder, Co with Nashville Grammy Award Winning Producer/Engineer, Chad Brown. Tracks will include American Free, Rock ‘N Roll, Last Time, Wolf Mother, Wood and Whiskey, Black Bird, Grandma’s 45s and more!
