"The Jaden Carlson Band melds soul, jazz, fusion, and rock together for something truly amazing. They just dropped their first album titled ‘Polychromatic‘ and to say we are impressed, is an understatement. For such a young singer/songwriter this is one hell of an album. It kicks off with a beautiful instrumental piece possessing some impressive guitar riffs. The album moves through some different styles but holds tight a unique funk-jam feel. There are points in the album you could be listing to Umphrey’s McGee or even Michael Franti until her sweet voice brings you back. Listening to ‘Polychromatic‘, it appears years of musical influence have been vigorously packed into her 13 year old hands. You can really feel the time and energy put into each one of these songs.You feel the passion not only in her words but in the guitar as well. “The opening track, “Essium,” is a feeler. It introduces the guitar driven instrumentals that showcase Jaden’s vibe before steering into the meat of the album. The true kicking off point comes in the form of “The Wrong Way.” The little funkstress’ still developing but well-rounded vocals materialize while bassist Eric Luba double-times on keys, particularly the organ heard throughout the eleven jam heavy tunes. Drummer Will Trask is money on the beat, allowing the keys and guitar to build to a carefully plotted climax. Drawing on jam band influences, Jaden is naturally pulled to the funky rhythms that get a live crowd rollicking. “Mudflip” runs around in circles, up and down the fret board with a Nascar pace. You can close your eyes, breathe in the music, and picture a dark club with disco ball reflected laser lights washing over sweaty, rhythmic bodies as they flail to Jaden’s rapid fire, effect laced playing."”

The Jaden Carlson Band is a high-energy power trio based out of Boulder, Colorado that melds funk, soul, jazz, fusion and rock. Led by Jaden, a guitar artist, they expertly perform a unique and expansive repertoire of infectious originals and carefully selected covers embodying their own unique arrangements.
Jaden’s band is comprised of herself on lead guitar and vocals, Will Trask on drums, percussion and backing vocals, and Eric Luba on left-hand bass, keys and backing vocals. Having formed in late 2014, the band discovered a common love and joy of creating music during a band-basement jam that, upon playing for the first time, stretched six hours into the night. Subsequent days of hours-long jamming and writing cemented what is now the Jaden Carlson Band, and their enthusiasm for playing together radiates throughout every venue they play.
In their short time as a musical unit, the Jaden Carlson Band has already headlined many theaters, performed on the main stage of major festivals, supported national touring artists (Anders Osborne and Robert Cray), toured throughout many states, and released their own album.
These three talented musicians bring a wealth of musical knowledge, experience and prowess to each performance, and an irresisitable and dynamic energy that has their audiences begging for more. Jaden has shared the stage with many notable artists including Umphrey’s McGee, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Devon Allman & The Royal Southern Brotherhood, Dumpstaphunk, Roosevelt Collier, John Popper and Blues Traveler, Groundation, and many others. She is the youngest artist to legitimately perform at the Red Rocks Ampitheater…twice, as well as performing frequently at the some of the nation’s best festivals.
