If Saturday’s Lehigh River Blues Jam festival was, indeed, its end after 15 years – as organizers announced at the show – it went out on a high note.
The seven-act, seven-hour event was full of solid performances, but the highlight was headliner Bobby Kyle and his energetic, enthusiastic four-man band, who played a smoking, sweaty, seven-song, 45-minute headline set.
Other performers on the record-busy bill were Lehigh Valley/Philadelphia trio Acoustic Blues Project; Jack Adams Band, a favorite of Allentown’s Blues Brews & BBQ festival; The Blues Collaborative Band; and perennial multiple Lehigh Valley Music Awards nominees Dana Gaynor Band and The BC Combo. - Morning Call
Jack was born and raised in Allentown, Pa. He has a lifetime involvement in music. He is an avid drummer/singer in rock, r&b and specifically blues genres. Jack is a longtime board member of the Lehigh Valley Blues Network. He is a frequent MC (emcee) at various events throughout the tri-state area. For the past 10 years, Jack has been a programmer at WDIY. Tune in on Saturdays from 3-5pm to listen to Jack on Bluesville. - WDIY 88.1 FM

We are putting the finishing touches on a demo disk and writing more originals for a studio album as you read this.
While you wait for those, feel free to hunt down and check out some of our earlier work, on albums like these (Jack co-wrote some tunes withThom and Chuck arranged the horn sections):
Thom Palmer and All Points Bulletin. Live At The Hotel Bethlehem. BeLeVe (BeSt of the Lehigh Valley) Performance, recorded during Musikfest 2002. This one featured the late, great Al Guerrero as a guest vocalist. Al was an inspiration to all Lehigh Valley blues musicians!
The Thom Palmer Band. Slip On Outta Sight, Lost World Records, 2005. (Mostly TPB originals)

Bio
Blues, Blues and more Blues...all danceable, not your pappy's blues band.
The Jack Adams Blues Band was originally conceived as a way to remember, and carry on the legacy of our friend and former band leader, local Blues legend, the late Thom Palmer, whose band 3 of our members played in over many years of recording and performing in and around the Lehigh Valley and beyond.
As time passed since Thom’s tragic and sudden death, the chatter was to keep the memory and legacy alive as a tribute to a great friend. So, in the fall of 2017 Sam Guido, (guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Jack Adams (drums and vocals) talked about keeping it going.
Joined by a rock solid bassist, Michael Williams the 3 piece band began to gain recognition in and around the Valley. Then in the spring of 2018 Chuck Steele (sax, flute and vocals), another Thom Palmer Band alum, was welcomed aboard.
With the band complete, and some big gigs lined up, an accident between a hedge clipper and a hand sidelined our lead guitar player for a month, when the amazing guitarist Robb Parker agreed to sit in for the upcoming gigs. The band hit it off right away with Robb and we all wanted him to come aboard with us, to which he agreed, and we’ve been rocking the Lehigh Valley since. Special gig performances have included Allentown Blues, Brews & Barbecue in June, 2019 and the Lehigh River Blues Jam in January, 2020. We enjoyed an extra special weekend re-opening the Briggs Farm Blues Festival, 2021 -- after COVID-19's forced hiatus.
Sam left JABB in November, 2019 to establish another local band. Richard Booth joined us in January, 2020, and has been a most welcome addition to the quintet. Tyrone Bradley now joins us on the drum kit whenever a sextet can be booked, allowing Jack to move out front and add auxiliary percussion flavor.
