Nostalgia is like candy, and Pale has sweet teeth. Widowed of a band that he created, Pale (21-year-old Blake Eaton) found great happiness in making what has been described as "weirdo-avant-Sunshine-state post-pop." After being left by himself to create, Pale has had no choice but to explore his human condition in the only way he can: genuinely.
The sounds are at times dark, quirky, charming, catchy, and dreamy all at once; almost as if David Bowie and Tiny Tim had sat down over popcorn to watch a David Lynch film together. Since beginning in March of 2013, Pale has relentlessly self-produced his own story. With an EP, four self-booked tours, and over 100 shows from L.A. to Montreal in the past year, this is just the first mile out the door for Pale. Now recording and planning for 2015, a debut full-length is scheduled that is dedicated to being everything it can be.
