The American band It Kills You, released at the end of 2022, the EP titled “Worse Than You Expected Than You Hoped For”. Bringing the hard-hitting sound of alternative metal songwriting with deep impactful chorus's, 'It kills you' is comprised of members from 4 different rock backgrounds, creating a stylistic blend of modern alternative metal with early metalcore and emo.
Formed in winter of 2021, we spent our first year crafting our debut EP titled,"Worse Than You Expected, Better Than You Hoped For" with the first single "Unseen" climbing to garner thousands of streams across all platforms in its first 6 months of release.
The debut EP itself has seen much success since its release, with its leading track, "succubus" outpacing even the success of of the first single.
The band, located in central oklahoma city, is comprised of Salem Love on vocals, Jam Moon on Drums, David 'Dj' Locke on guitar and Joel "Vox" Zondlo on bass.
