Tragedy, loss, pain, do you let it define you? Do you let the addictions and the temptations of an over stimulated world entice you into the forbidden? Despite our better efforts we all at some point bite our lip and turn the key. When the door is opened and that thread of sanity is pulled from the fabric, the foundation of what we think we know crumbles giving life to the greatest yet darkest part of us. What once laid dormant has now become its own entity an angel caught between two worlds one wing engraved with mercy the other with vengeance. I call this phenomenon the state of Immersia.

Immersia is a hard rock band formed out of Joplin, Missouri. Their many influences include Metallica, Halestorm, In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch, Chevelle, H.I.M., Three Days Grace. Ironically what sets Immersia apart from everyone else is that they are just like everyone else. No facade to hide behind, just real, honest, down-to-earth, hardworking people that enjoy sharing their music with others. Each member has their own story to tell, their own road of suffering, their own victory walk and it shows as they bring it to life with each drum fill, bass rumble, and guitar slide. A perfect balance between being relatable and catchy the lyrics pulls the listener into the raw emotion of the song forming a bond between the artist and listener that makes for an unforgettable experience.
