Ill-Advised is a rock n' roll band from New Jersey that describes their sound as "Mutt Rock" - a mix of everything from punk to alternative to metal.
Formed in October 2009 while still in high school by singer/guitarist/drummer, songwriter, and band-leader Harry Metzler the band began to take shape and released several demos while touring around the tri-state area. Dissatisfied with the over-produced and auto-tuned music of the late 2000s, Ill-Advised's goal quickly became to provoke an emotional reaction amongst listeners with direct lyrics delivered from a whisper to a scream, driving guitars, and pounding drums. Currently recording and set to release new music in late 2012/early 2013 the band looks forward to getting back on the road.
