"Money
isn't my motivation... Passion is..."

If you ever had a
chance to meet Lemonte "H2-O" Williams, then you would understand just how much
that ideal resonates through is spirit.  He know his truths... They are not
pretty or easy to deal with at all, but he know his truths. Lemonte "H2-O"
Williams knows that he has an inner drive that will not allow him to fail. He
recognizes that he is now, and will forever be, misunderstood. His perspectives
are mhis own and are rarely shared by others.  By day, Lemonte is corporate
executive in Manhattan, putting his education from Duke University to good use.
 By night, he is pursuing his career in music with an undying passion
for hip-hop.  

H2-O
began honing his skills by ripping stages along the eastern seaboard and dropped
his first mixtape, "Teser" ("Reset" backwards), in February of 2009.
Authoritative at times, burlesque at others, the promotional release was a
whirlwind of lyrical dexterity and would land H2-O on the pages of several
Hip-Hop publications, including The Source magazine as the "Unsigned Hype" for
August 2009.

After
going from label to label and being told, "You are amazing artist but we need
you dumb-down your sound", H2-O took a tactical treat away from music to revise
his strategy.  During his brief haitus, he realized the the true reason why he
made music and why sacrificing his sound wasn't an option for him.  He does it
for the love; Period. 

"I am
a man of passion... I could care less if I ever make a dollar from music. I'm
currently working my way up the ladder of success in corporate America, so I'm
going to be fine regardless. I just want to share my experiences on a broad
scale."  

H2-O
coined the phrase "idothisforthelove" and began to make the music that reflected
his inner most thoughts and experiences. "I
have been through so many things in my young life and I truly believe the
lessons I've picked up along the way can save you and a few others from some
heart ache and pain. I would never want you to go through some of the things
I've gone through. On the same token, I wouldn't trade my experiences for
anything in the world. They have shaped me."

In
December 2013, H2-O released idothisforthelove.  The project has been
extremely successful and the visuals for the album have garnered nearly 500,000
views in 3 months.  H2-O, originally from Paterson, NJ isn't interested
in conforming to the apparently hypocritical mindset that currently
dominates today's Hip-Hop industry. His life lessons have left an indelible mark
on him and consequently he feels compelled to share those lessons with others. A
gambler at heart, he is betting all of this will force him to stand out in the
crowd and connect with fans on a more intimate level.

am going to share who I am with you.  My experiences are the reason why I'm so
different.  It hurt going through them, granted; and I didn't always make the
most popular decision, but I would NEVER trade my experiences.  It's music to
you... It's life to me..."
