Bio
Idle Kyle is an original four piece rock band based in PA. The group includes Nicole Schaefer (keys/vocals), Sebastian Goodridge (percussion/producer), Jesse Wisch (bass), and Nathan Cutshall (guitar). "Indie" is a loose term for Idle Kyle's sound, which colors a classic rock foundation with jazz and the blues.
The band members all met during college years at Penn State. Prior to forming Idle Kyle, Nicole and Sebastian worked together on an EP released under Schaefer's name titled "Black & White." Jesse joined the team after the three met performing in Penn State's jazz ensembles, which marked the conception of the band. After a few months of being a trio, the band brought on Nate to fill out the group's sound.
While natives to the college house show scene, Idle Kyle began performing in State Theatres by the end of their first year as a group. Idle Kyle now performs in venues around State College and surrounding cities. The band is in the process of recording our first album.
