Bio
Commonly known as "Hawaii's Homegirl," Allison "AlliCat" Lindsay is a multi-faceted hip-hop and spoken word artist that began creating poetry and music in her hometown of Mansfield, Ohio at the age of 15. While only sharing her work with close friends throughout her college and military careers, she gained a sizable network that now spans across multiple countries throughout the world. Her style is informative, yet versatile, her punchlines are poignant, and her commercial delivery is piercing yet welcomed by listeners of all ages. Since relocating to Hawaii in 2009, AlliCat has worked with a host of local and national level talent and continues to support the local music scene by providing a performance platform at various venues throughout the island. Her most recently hosted events have welcomed stars to Hawaii such as Freeway Ricky Ross, rappers Too Short and Lil Eazy E, and singer/songwriter Meelah Williams (formerly of 702). AlliCat is scheduled to open for Mike Jones, and will be embarking on her first mainland tour this Summer (2016.)
AlliCat released her first single, "Facebxxk Famous" feat. Shawty Boy, on July 4, 2015. Debuting on the CDBaby.com Hip-Hop charts at #3, "Facebxxk Famous" gained airplay accessibility to over 37 countries, and boasts a web presence of over 40,000 web hits. This release garnered major attention, resulting in multiple mixtape placements and web coverage from major music platforms such as Thisis50.com. AlliCat is pushing the bar further with her 2nd single, entitled "Where Do I Go?" feat. Johnathan Wes and Sam Watson; released on January 5th, 2016. Her Debut EP, "#HawaiisHomegirl," is scheduled for a Spring 2016 release.
