Formerly known as "Delta", Humid Subtropic is a Southeastern based original jam band from Jackson, Mississippi. Playing a wide variety of Roots, Funk, Jazz, Blues and Rock and Roll, Humid Subtropic gets their inspiration from a wide range of influential artists from The Grateful Dead to Steely Dan, to Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers, and so on. Humid Subtropic creates a unique individualized live music experience with a unique blend of original music, covers and improvisation. These well seasoned musicians literally create musical magic out of thin air. They will take your ears down an old familiar road with a classic cover, then take a sharp turn for a ride through uncharted territory exploring new improvisational sounds and experiences right on the spot. Humid Subtropic released their debut studio EP titled "Delta I" in May 2023.
The band will be returning to the studio in the fall of 2023 to record part two of their debut EP titled "Delta II".
