"You can tell that Hope is a seasoned talent well in command of her craft. These tracks will steal your heart and free your mind." - Michael Smith
“Surely her songs are inspired by nature — her voice rings of bird calls and high vistas; she can morph from breathy to velvety in the span of a note.” - Alli Marshall
"I had the pleasure of listening to Hope’s performance at the Singer/Songwriter competition in Black Mountain where I was a guest judge. Hope was so amazing and won 1st place in the competition. It is easy to see the the level of respect her fellow artist have for her unique talent and angelic voice. Hope is an amazing talent… If you’re in town or nearby, do yourself a favor, find Hope’s next performance." - Todd Dionne
I've had the pleasure of knowing Hope for a couple years now. Her posture is upright, a strong stance and her casual tone is one that is fluent in confidence, perhaps this is something no one should be surprised about after learning she is a fisherman's daughter, growing up in the small town Alaska. Her Classical voice dresses well the simple romantic motive of her songwriting, and the long echo filled hallways of this old basement help me realize at the time how the sometimes antagonizing thoughts of love or anguish that get trapped in our heads need a way out of the dark. - Lucas Cipkowski

Bio
The Hope Griffin Duo is comprised of Alaska born singer and songwriter Hope Griffin, and New Jersey bred cellist and Asheville transplant JamieLeigh O’Neil. Together, the two create a dynamic guitar/cello fusion of original sound. Hope’s “in your-face” style of ballad writing, as well as the duo’s reputation for playing songs that span through the decades has made them popular amongst a wide range of age groups. Just two years after joining forces in 2014, the duo was awarded best “Singer-Songwriter” and best “Acoustic/Folk Band” in Western North Carolina in 2016. With a unique blend of rock, blues, and folk sounds, this talented act is ready to share with you their exploration of both the bedrocks of your classic favorites and their own, fresh contributions to the singer-songwriter conversation.
