Higher Soul is known around western Washington for their engaging performances. They perform lounges, wineries, pubs, hotels, community and private events. Higher Soul presents a combination of classy soulful originals and funked-up versions of many well-known favorites excelling in their capacity to match their energy and interaction to their audience. Founded by Sean Curkendall, Pianist and Vocalist out of Tacoma Washington had a distinct sound ringing in his head and never could quite capture that sound until Jeffrey "Sphinx" Walker's smooth bass lines created something that was yet aggressive but elegantly powerful at the same time. Soon the shared skill, charisma, goals and values built the band into what it is today. Higher Soul now features the skilled talents of Michael Davis formerly of Dagger on drums and is leading musical evolution into a new era!
