Bio
Originally from North Atlanta, Stax is a blue collar southern charmer. Raised by a Caribbean, Grenadian mother and a father from West Atlanta, Stax holds range. As a kid, he grew up watching basement sessions where his dad recorded music playing the Bass guitar with friends. Though music always lived in his heart, Stax eventually excelled at the game of football. He eventually earned a scholarship to the University of West Georgia where he is now in Hall of Fame. Shortly after the end of his college career, Stax, like his dad began to play and record music. However, instead of playing a guitar, he chose to use his voice as the instrument. In his music you’ll find abstract stories told through deep melodies, raw feelings, and vocal expression. Stax's goal is to make people fall in love with themselves no matter where they are. He believes the love of self will pull anyone towards who they truly seek to be. You are perfect.
