Hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alternative Metal band Seven Days Rest came onto the music scene of Albuquerque New Mexico in late 2015. Leaning into their style, Seven Days Rest primarily uses the down tuned heavy guitar sound of mid-2000's Alt-Metal scene, and the darkly aggressive songwriting of modern Post-Hardcore/Metalcore. Their influences include: Trivium, Breaking Benjamin, Slipknot, Nothing More, Three Days Grace, A Day to Remember, Our Last Night, and Jinjer. The band currently consists of vocalist Shay Raelynn, Guitarist Aris Zaffer, Bassist Julian Gunther, and Drummer Justyn Rippie. Their second full length album, is expected to release in spring 2022.
