Bio
Formally known as BTMG Reason, this Birmingham, AL native is one of the area’s most diverse lyrically inclined artists. With the release of his debut mixtape “Parapenelia,” a solid project hosting a strong presence of radio friendly songs with production from 30 Roc, KarltinBankz, BeatsxKD, and Paul Cabbin proved to be a force of witty punchlines and clever choruses in 2018. The lead single “Blacktopmoneygang” prod. by 30 Roc, earned him a shot at the “Coast 2 Coast World Championship” which was held in Miami, FL this past September. Also being an opening act for Gunna and Blocboy JB.
After a vast rebrand, Hardbody Shard returned with yet another street banger “Fie On Me” to hit the ground running in 2019. The single has been buzzing in the Birmingham area since its debut and has been played on the city’s no. 1 hiphop station, 95.7 Jamz, scoring his third single to make the airways, succeeding “Hook Up” prod. by BeatsxKD(2018).
Making constant efforts, he has recently interviewed with industry guru Tampa Mystic on Highly Unique Radio, where the single is also currently being played. With the release of his most recent follow-up single/video “Man In The Middle” along with his new “Solitude” EP, on May 3rd, Hardbody Shard shows no sign of slowing down.
