Bio
Hanna Kim is a South Korea native, born and raised in Gwangju, South Korea. Influenced by artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Beyonce, Sara Bareilles, Corinne Bailey Rae and Korean singers such as IU, Lyn and Lena Park etc. She is a singer/songwriter emerging onto the music scene with a warm, sweet and enjoyable sound reminiscent of classic and contemporary soft pop and folk. While her main genre is jazz, she is also confident with pop, funk, gospel, ccm and world music. Not only that, she has experience singing soul, modern rock, R&B, and world music and so on. She is currently studying at Los Angeles College of Music pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in music performance with a vocal emphasis. Along with studying and performing in various venues around LA, Hanna is currently working on writing and recording new songs for her first EP set to release in 2021. She recently got the first place in the US, was sent to Korea for the final round and got a fourth prize out of eleven contestant in a huge singer-songwriter competition called Yoo Jea Ha music concour.
