Hangar Eleven

Hangar 11 came from a project Guitarist Clay Commings (34) had wanted to do since he was in High School. His Family always visited California in the Summertime and he was always fascinated by the sights and sounds and culture of California. Over the years he developed a close friendship with many prominent players in the "surf music" scene in California. Due to that he wanted to bring a taste of the California music scene to Oklahoma, unfortunately he soon found out that was easier said than done. After many years of trying and failing to get a band together, he started working with other players in hopes one day he could get his passion project up and running. Fast forward to 2023 and now Clay is in a classic rock band with Singer Adam Carnel, Bassist Ben Ellis, and drummer Nate "the animal" RedElk. After playing together for many years Clay decided to try the surf band thing one more time, but this time modernize it up. So the Classic Rock band became a Sci-Fi Surf Punk Band with Adam now on Rhythm Guitar. 

Hangar 11 is a band out of Lawton Oklahoma, which consists of Clay Commings on Lead, Ben Ellis on Bass, Adam Carnel on Rhythm and Nate RedElk on Drums. they are a very high energy band with an incredible space style light show to boot. Not only are they fun to listen to but also visually striking as well. They play classic Surfpunk tunes along with new and originals as well, but always add a bit of a punk/space twist.
