Gwala Man Bambino

Gwala Man Bambino is determined to put his hometown of Newnan, G.A., infamously known as 'Cocaine County', on the map!

Gwala Man Bambino was born in Georgia in 1990 during one of the greatest eras of Hip-Hop music.  He grew up in a family where listening to music was a huge part of life.  Classic southern artists such as the Dayton Family, Goodie Mob, OutKast, UGK and the Geto Boys and 8 Ball & MJG influenced young Gwala.  

Deciding he wanted to be an emcee, he made music a priority.  He practiced for hours each day after school and on weekends.  By 2009, Gwala was recording professionally, but still dabbling in the street life until a brush with the law sent him to Georgia State Prison.  

While incarcerated he continued to work on perfecting his craft and maintained his focus on music.  He was determined to come home and be a successful rapper.  

Upon his return he went full speed ahead!  Excited about his music, Gwala was back in the studio recording and even performing at local venues.  When things didn't move as fast as he expected, he became discouraged and leaned back towards the streets.  

Unfortunately, he got jammed up and found himself back in prison.  Disappointed in himself for making the same mistake, he struggled to regain his focus.  

After witnessing a few rhyme cyphers in the prison yard, he shook it off and got back on his music shit.  This time he worked on his freestyling skills.  Months later, you could find Gwala in the middle of anything dealing with music going on in the prison!

Gwala returned home in 2016 with a completely different mindset.  He was confident and focused.  His bars proved that the years he spent on lock-down practicing his craft had paid off.  He was back in the studio recording new music and enjoying the freedom he would never take for granted again.  

Gwala Man Bambino finally has the right people around him encouraging him to stay on a positive path.  Now he can fulfill his potential.  To date he has recorded more than thirty tracks that are ready for release.
