Bio
The hard rock band, Groundlift was started by Mike McCormack and Dan MacDonald while they were still in high school, who shortly after forming recruited Michael Dutko on bass guitar. Shortly thereafter Groundlift relocated to Boston, Massachusetts and recruited Leah Bluestein on drums to replace MacDonald. Since their relocation, they’ve been rehearsing and playing shows non-stop, refining their sound and gathering a fan base. Groundlift released their first full-length album, Across the Seven Seas, in January 2018. The album showcased a wide variety of styles and songwriting and has been received well by fans. They are currently working on recording their second album.
