Bio
Following a graduate degree in piano performance, Greg Starr joined Hal Leonard Corporation (Music Print Publishing) in Product Development – Music Technology. In that position he worked not only with musical instrument manufacturers such as Kurzweil, Roland, Korg, and Yamaha but also with artists such as Horace Silver, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers), The Bangles, Sting, Milli Vanilli, and Luther Vandros.
Among his numerous independent writing and production project clients are Wisconsin Public Television, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Children’s Theater, the Library of Congress, Lutheran Brotherhood, and the Patio Players of Menomonee Falls.
His performance credits include the Northwest Chamber Orchestra (Bach f-minor Keyboard Concerto), Orchestra of Central Washington University (Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No.2 in g minor), the Kenosha Symphony, Steve Allen, Michael Drake and the No Tan Lines Band, Milwaukee Opera Co., Milwaukee Musical Theatre, and numerous commercial pop and rock bands.
