Virginia rapper New Regime raps loud and fast, like Meek Mill with a somehow funnier name. This loosie with Fat Trel and Kino Beats knocks, and the bars are raw: the Tupac-esque inflections on the hook only strengthen the 2012 Meek vibes. Regime could probably hold his own on beats that didn't sound like the everyday street single, but he'll probably stick to them. We'll listen out either way. — Matthew Trammell - The Fader Magazine

The near-fatal bullet struck Crestwood native entertainer in the face causing him to be temporarily blind for months.The visual for “Vibe Wit A G” was created to give fans and critics alike an inside look into what transpired and how life has changed for him tremendously following the aforementioned events. Bio
Born in the Norview section of Norfolk, Virginia, Regime the Statement (also known as “New Regime”) was destined to be a star. After moving to the diverse Chesapeake, Virginia neighborhood of Crestwood, Regime became a neighborhood superstar known for the tales told through his music, among other things.
After being incarcerated Regime decided to take music seriously and embarked on a journey to be heard. However, shortly after his decision to take music seriously, that plan was almost cut short, as he was involved in a near fatal shooting. Having survived the vicious attack, Regime became more focused than ever and hasn’t looked back. Regime and his team, SCG Da Government are on a creative frenzy recording new music, accompanied with music videos as well doing shows with major artists.
His debut single “Indicted”, over the Cash Jordan production, delivers a gripping tale of the dark side of not only Crestwood but also, the streets in general. Though Regime is still considered a new comer to the music industry he has already toured with Epic Records Recording Artist, Future, Young Jeezy and Ty Dollar Signs. He has performed as an opening act for Maybach Music Recording Artist, Fat Trel. The two have also worked on the Kino Beats produced “Money Hungry” which is on the project from Regime the Statement entitled “The Million Dollar Regiment”.
