On Sunday, July 19, 2015, local record label the Indie-Visuals will be hosting a music festival at LaSalle Park… though not at the place that you might expect. Elements Music Fest will be held at the LaSalle Skate Plaza, the perfect location for a day-long, free, all ages event that will feature live music and art, skating/BMX, and a dance floor.
Aside from the mission of having a solid day of fun at a relatively untapped “music venue”, festival organizers along with Buffalo Rotaract Club, intend on raising awareness and supplies (food and clothing) for Hearts for the Homeless.
There’s a full line-up of live music talent, and a number of other solid performers participating that will make this a summer fest to remember. - Buffalo Rising Media

This week we have a Philly based singer/songwriter. The best way we found to describe her style is pop/folk. Just last month she released her first full-length album called "My Glass Heart" which is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes, CDbaby, and Amazon.com. She even has several upcoming shows. MY GLASS HEART & GIANRE ARE STREAMING ON SPOTIFY NOW!
Philadelphia born-and-raised singer/songwriter Giana Lynn is an indie musician with big dreams and an even bigger heart. Since 2014, she has release a debut EP (Gianre), a single (Family Christmas), and a full-length album (My Glass Heart). On April 24th 2018, she plans to release a five-song EP titled "No Longer Silent."
She has had a passion and fervor for music since she was a very little girl, composing her first piano piece at the age of six and proceeding to take lessons for the following eight years. Her love for performing didn't stop at music, as she was drawn to musical theater as well. She participated in many plays starting in 2007 and continuing through high school. She even majored in theater at Arcadia University for the 2012-2013 school year. However, music remained Giana's passion, so she transferred to Temple University for the 2013-2014 school year to study that. After transferring, Giana soon realized that she wanted to focus all of her energy on achieving her musical dreams, so she withdrew from school and set out on a path less traveled.
After being signed to a local label for three years, Giana decided to become a fully independent musician in 2017. She has two years of open mic hosting experience, and nearly four years of gigging at bars, festivals, concerts, benefits, and private parties under her belt. She has played music in several states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, West Virginia, and Maryland. Her music has been heard on WXPN in Philadelphia, and featured on Women Of Substance Radio, Radio Crystal Blue, Indie Castle, and RockLanOne, a BillBoard-tracked top internet radio station. Giana's mantra is Aspire to inspire. Her ultimate goal is to touch peoples' souls with her music the way her own soul has been embraced a multitude of times by others' music, and to give people the courage to live the life of which they dream.
