G I Am

G I Am ent. is Hip Hop Music.

A two man team of independent artists based in Lincolnville, South Carolina. These guys are
looking to bring a fresh perspective to the culture with a blend of golden era hip hop inspiration and
modern music trends. Beezo Beat It Up. Extra Gram Sam. G I Am Ent.

For Sam (Extra Gram Sam) Jenkins and Albert (Beezo Beat It Up) hip hop music was never a
realistic aspiration. Growing up as close friends in the 843 (Charleston), they indulged in the usual
vices tempting young men in their adolescent years. Still both managed to be standouts in various
areas of academia and athletics.

After some college, career changes, and tragic events, the two determined in 2012 that they would
pursue hip hop music as a profession.

Beginning with no knowledge of production or the business, the team invested in the necessities for
home recording and began searching for their identity and niche. In 2013 the group released their
first official video 'The Plug" produced and visualized by Beezo Beat It Up.

This single paved the way for Extra Gram Sam's mixtape 'Me, Myself and Gramz", a collection of
original music and radio covers that served as the world's introduction to G I Am and Beezo's first
project as a producer. The project held some gyms but showed many opportunities sonically.

The team followed with progressively better videos and singles from the mixtape and began
garnering attention and booking shows in their area to perform catchy songs such as "The Plug"
and "Bounce".

As the summer approached, G I Am found their way into an opportunity for an online radio show.
Seeing the value of the experience and exposure, the team designed the two hour time slot to
feature all independent hip hop. Through search and promotion, they grew a following for their hip
hop show 'So Dope Radio' comprised of those supportive of "the talented, ambitious, and
independent".

The show featured live interviews and new music from some Carolina standouts as well as phone
interviews with indie artists from all over America. The outlet and 'So Dope' brand became
respected and recognized for being true to the culture and built for the people. From the show was
born the 'So Dope Cypher' , an event consisting of battle rap and open mic cypher. The event
produced a short youtube series as an outlet for the featured artists but more importantly, gave the
Charleston area a hip hop venue that was missing.

By December of 2013 the group ended So Dope Radio in favor of focus on their music.

Searching for new inspiration and an upgrade to their sound, G I Am added the Maschine Studio
music production center to their arsenal and hit the lab hard.

Extra Gram Sam using his ear for music, aggressive wit, and undeniable presence to take Beezo's
eclectic production to the next level, crafted 'Carolina Hero'. Track for track, the lp gives listeners
heavy bass, hypnotic tracks, catchy choruses, and unmatched lyrical bravado from Gramz and a
host of 843 talents. "All bangers..." Every track is a hit. It's only a matter of time.

Now Beezo on the other hand took a different approach for his lp. 'So Dope' is "808 soul". It's
sincere, uplifting, yet aggressive and blunt. Totally produced by Beezo, it's a piece of hip hop culture
that fans have dubbed an "instant classic".

Since the online release of these two lp's, Extra Gram Sam and Beezo have been working to
cultivate and grow their fan base through shows, collaborations, and sincere interaction and
appreciation for their fans.

Currently the team has focus their efforts on visuals and promotion of the projects while building
anticipation for their first official LP 'We Serious'.

This is only the beginning for G I Am ent.

As they strive to bring the fun, the lyrics, the originality back to the forefront of hip hop, G I Am
continues to raise their bar at each release. The sky is the limit for these two. And it's dope hip hop
music..
