Gerry and Olga

Gerry and Olga are a duo that sing and play acoustic guitar. The way their voices blend brings a unique sound to their both their original music and folk standards. Audience response has motivated them to expand their songwriting and explore creative options to old favorites.

Growing up in Staten Island, Gerry listened to artists such as James Taylor, The Eagles, and Neil Young, honing his skills by playing and singing along with their music.

Olga is a singer and performer born in Cuba into a family in the music business. She came to the United States as a small child. After learning that Pete Seeger made Guantanamera, a traditional Cuban song, famous in the United States she felt at home singing Petes best known as well as other classic and contemporary folk songs.   

Gerry and Olga entertain by singing songs with harmony and a positive message, such as their song Stayin In and the heartfelt Bullet With A Banjo; a tribute to Pete Seeger. Preserving the environment is also important to both of them and they seek to contribute to this important mission with song, promoting the idea that we all must take part in making the world a better place; one that will remain safe for future generations.
