Born Rex Bridgeforth (Galactic Boogey) by way of Southern California is a MC slash Producer who was raised by his two parents from the South. Galactic Boogey has a uniquely soulful yet funky sound which he labels Futuristic FunkHop. Major influences to his craft are Andre3000, George Clintion, J Dilla, Pharell, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg. GB began his venture in to music in the 9th grade where he was making beats for local acts in Las Vegas, NV. He debut his first solo effort 'Galaxploitation' in 2012 which all production was crafted entirely by himself. Galaxploitation was a soulful look into his Southern Californian lifestyle with a electric twist of soul and funk music with a west coast summer vibe. In 2014, GB released his second effort 'Dylan Debonair which was majorly produced by him and the help of California native producers Scott Swoosh & Ricky Andez. Galactic Boogey teamed up with Kevy-O (drummer) and DJ Shush for live shows and delivers a charming and charismatic performance.
