Framing Grey is a three piece, progressive rock band that is classically trained and driven by musicality in the strongest sense, but still put an amazing amount of soul into their music while performing on stage. Formed in 2013, the power trio is not afraid to step outside of genre boundaries to use progressive, avant-garde, jazz, metal, and noise rock ideas to develop conceptual context for their music. The band released their first demo entitled "Colossus" in early 2013, and have been developing their songwriting capabilities leading to their first EP release scheduled for early 2015. The bands well developed, and sometimes chaotic song structures, is a staple of the bands style, and creates a variety of amazing moments when transferred to a live setting. The band has played many different venues around Houston and has been featured on local radio shows The Grind Radio Show, and ROT Radio.
