Fools Like You

"Fools Like You are four guys that live to play straight up adrenaline pumping original rock! " Is a
statement repeated by their fans when asked to describe the band and
could not be closer to the truth! Comparable to the birth child of a
Metallica/Foo Fighters
musical orgy, Fools Like You or " FLY" as their affectionately
referred to by many, are a fresh new brand of rock that squash the
template driven music of today's hard rock scene.
"We want to write music that people can listen to and really appreciate, not just
because they can rock out to it but also because of the talent that's
behind it" says lead guitarist Sky Nicholson." FLY's" brand of music is definitely not
short on talent. FLY are a head bangin, riff shredding rock and roll
machine hell bent on making sure that everyone in the room is having as
much fun as they are at all times. "We take our music very seriously
but at the same time we want people to know that we're just regular
people like everyone else" states bass player Steve Needham. "Our main
goal whether we're on stage or not is to get everyone to forget their
worries, become a Fool and rock out with us" says vocalist Tolsen
Nicholson. "If you're not rockin out then we're not doing our job!".

Despite their name, FLY are no strangers to hard work. "We all have full time jobs
and families as well so we're used to working really hard with the time that we get"
says Tolsen. "We really want to take this as far as we can and have
as much fun as we can in the process but we're very realistic about our expectations, we know it's not going to be easy". Fools are currently in
the process of recording their debut self titled album at Audio Valley
Studio in Ottawa Ontario. Scheduled for release in June of 2014, Fools
will unleash their rock to people everywhere and work towards a tour to
build on the rock machine they have created.
