And to think, this one almost slipped by. D.I.T.C. up-and-comer Fisher unwrapped one of the best gifts an MC could ever hope for late last month–a certifiably tough beat from none other than DJ Premier. Built of a tender piano smaple, gliding bass, bone dry drums and the textbook scratches that Preemo is known for, the track Fisher got a hold of sounds like something straight out of ’95, and the MC delivered with the final product. “Fish Over Premier” is one of the truest true-school revivals we’ve heard in quite some time. Anyone who’s complaining that the golden days are lost just need to up their search game.
And be sure you listen all the way through, because things truly blossom in the final seconds, as Premier flips the script and Fisher rides a wave of grade-A rhymes, repping his city, his crew and himself. The Bronx rapper has been putting up a steady stream of indie rap via SoundCloud, and it’s now officially time that we all take proper heed. Recording professionally since the age of 18. “Fisher” but Comfortably referred to as G. Fisher, is a phenomenal lyricist from the Bronx.
Raised with his Mom’s and two Sisters (Saadika and Serria Sade). He also shares blood from his Father’s side having his big bro Alif and two other big sisters Rhonda and Shanieka around, and may even be a few More out there he hasn’t met yet.
His introduction to the sounds is interestingly enough the by-product of his Mother’s experiences within the business. G. Fisher referred to his Mother as his “Partner” and “One Of His Best Friends”. Although Crazy at times She’s a G, She been through alot and she Definitely help make Fisher the man that he is today.
Even with his pops being locked up, doing life in the feds since he was born, and having to meet his Father for the first time In jail, circumstances seemed lost. They never let that stop them, they built a Great Relationship and Dr Guy Fisher has been an inspiration to his son even at his own weakest Moments!

Fisher has always been influenced by Iconic Figures such as, Gil Scott Heron, Curtis Mayfield, Tupac, KRS One, Jay Z and yes his older sister saadika. She was a tremendous MC, being from the south Bronx Hip Hop was everywhere while Fisher was growing up.
His sister’s MC name is “Amazon” she’s dope and she probably can still give him a run for his money lol, he remembers her being 14 battling grown Men in the Bronx and Baltimore and talking bout putting them in bodybagz and bloodbaths, she was definitely bout that. She lives in texas now.

Fisher but Comfortably referred to as G.Fisher, this phenomenal lyricist from the Bronx has been a brand based on authenticity and a studious approach to his ambitions and intent as he embarks on a very promising Hip Hop career. With influencers that include iconic figures such as Gil Scott Heron, Curtis Mayfield, Tupac, KRS One and Jay Z as well, the self proclaimed Hip Hop head has been doing his diligence developing a fan base which serves as his greatest support to etching his name into the conversation of rising of stars.
His homage to the golden era of the culture is evident in every release, as he never strays too far from that boom bap which has made NYC the mecca of the most popular genre of music this century; G Fisher is a leader, a father, a student, a lyricist, a forward thinker. Inspired by the plight of family members, his introduction to the sounds is interestingly enough the byproduct of his mothers' experiences within the business as well as his older sisters' prowess.

Who would've thought ? As authentic a story and MC as you will find, Fisher marks Snoop Dog's Doggystyle classic as the first project he ever memorized.
Recording professionally since the age of 18, his barrage on the current landscape of the tri-state indie season has been superbly calculated and what some would describe as a long time coming. His greatest knack may be in performance as his name has rung bells from renowned venues the likes of The Pyramid Club, Webster Hall, Sullivan Hall, The Paladium, T.L.A. in Philly and the Amphitheater in D.C. amongst others.
An entrepreneur, Fisher is the head of his own imprint, Enterprize Entertainment under which he will be releasing the forthcoming Superfly Guy E.P. which lead single Snow White featuring Whispers is currently available; the follow up to his street album God MC and the prelude to his debut Year Enterprize Ent/ D.I.T.C in conjuction with Year Round Records release, which is as yet untitled.

A founding member of the revolution, which is known as the movement, Fisher has pledged his time and talent to the resurgence of New York City Hip Hop.
His place is Hip Hop is something of a self fulfilling prophecy, as only time will tell the impact that his work ethic will leave on the culture which he loves. If you are keeping score, paying attention you would only be left to admit that he is certainly on his way to success and acceptance on a major scale. The standard that his music sets is admirable, and his understanding of the landscape as well as the odds brings hope to a chip off the old block with plans not dreams. Stay tuned.
