Hailing originally from the Eau Claire, WI and now have moved to the La Crosse area, Fighting Nice With Others (or FNWO) embodies anything but a small, mid-west sound. This alternative rock group has a unique mix of backgrounds; its members strewn across a variety of musical interests, from deep bluesy jazz to hard-hitting punk rock. Although quite different, they come together to practice the one thing they have in common: their love of playing music. Not only musically dispersed, but physically too, FNWO is taking on the challenge of making music long distance. With members in Minneapolis, Menomenie, Eau Claire, and La Crosse, FNWO jams together by trading recordings, files, and ideas online - a veritable band of the modern age.
