Fairie's Death Waltz- where Opera meets Metal.
Established in 2016, we are a 4 piece (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) metal band from Maryland. Best described as Gothic Thrashing Opera Metal, by some of our listeners, we compose songs based on literature, history, and madness (a side note- the members may, or may not have escaped from an asylum. There's no actual proof. No pictures. You can't make us go back. Really. Just don't even try.) So, if you're still reading- yes, she's a real opera singer. Yes, the guitarist is also the artist. We enjoy donuts. Good ones. Not the cake type. Maybe with sprinkles. And coffee. Perhaps a shrubbery......
So, the more mundane details- we created the music we are playing because we wanted to hear something we couldn't find- thrashy, heavy metal, with operatic vocals, intricate melody lines, but a less 'symphonic' sound. We completed our lineup in March of 2017, and have our debut "In the Mourning' releasing June of 2017.
