Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama but now residing in the hip hop capital of the world Atlanta, Ga., Eway Paperboy is a real example of resilience. After surviving several tests at a young age growing up on the gritty Eastside of Tuscaloosa (hence the “EWAY” moniker), including being shot and a substantial jail stint, EWAY Paperboy would eventually try his hand at music. His initial effort featured the song “Calculate,” which would get the attention of another Tuscaloosa native residing in Georgia, legendary Grammy producer Sam Peezy.
Powered by Peezy’s beats and the consultation and expertise of another music legend, Enrique “Tetraz” Dent, Eway Paperboy’s first major industry mixtape, “Jumped Off Da Porch,” is taking the industry by storm with hits like “Blocks,” “Why She Actin Like That,” and his latest radio smash “Speedy Gonzalez.” Atlanta Legend Dj Scream decided to lend Paperboy’s video for Speedy Gonzalez some star power by making a guest appearance also to add to his growing brand. Nowadays, Paperboy is enjoying moderate success after signing a consultant/ development deal with another Atlanta Music Legend Ian Burke.  Paperboys second mixtape is already receiving rave reviews just from the initial buzz of the Dj Plugg produced single ” Percs And Zans “. The new mixtape is entitled ” I Do Numbers ” and was released nationwide the first quarter of 2017. Paperboy's lead single Percs and Zans has already been featured on Atlanta radio plus several other radio stations throughout the southeast. Excessive touring and multiple appearances has kept this rising start busy for the last 2 years. We can only expect the buzz to intensify over time as it seems that everyone is catching onto the “EWAY” movement.
