Inspired by the vocal and lyrical wizardry of Patty Griffin and Brandi Carlile, Erica Joy will tap into one's inner emotions and provide a cathartic musical experience. She's a reminder that we all have our issues and are not alone. Certain artists have saved Erica Joy and she feels she needs and can do the same.
Erica Joy has had the privilege of opening up for ZZ Ward during a tour stop at the University of Missouri Kansas City and won the HRC's Battle of the Bands. Homegrown Buzz has showed major love to Erica's first single by playing "Fun to Hold You." The Deli Magazine KC just named Erica Joy as one of Kansas City's favorite emerging artists.
In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with friends, riding bikes through the city, climbing trees, camping, and everything and anything Lord of the Rings.
