Bio
A style of music perhaps best described as “dirty folk”, Milwaukee based singer-songwriter Eric Hess’ music takes root in equal parts folk and gritty rock-and-roll.
Writing and recording from an early age, Hess has worked on a number of projects and amassed a catalog of original songs and poetry. His most recent projects include collaborating with bassist Cheston VanHuss and songwriter Mark Soriano on Breakout, released in summer 2019 under the moniker “Complex Machine”, as well as two new solo E.P.’s- Against the Grain and Synopsis, also released in 2019.
Hess’ fourth studio album will be released later in 2020.
