Era Gone

After the band Thrash Can ended, former members Jake Potts and Chris Taylor rejoined forces to create a new metal project, different than before. With the help of newcomers Turner Thomas on bass, David Nisoff on guitar, and Tanner Brown as the lead vocalist, our name represents the end of one era and the beginning of a new one. All members come from different musical backgrounds, and with all talents combined, Era Gone features music from all genres of metal and more. With this in mind, we set out with three main goals. 1) Make great music 2) Put on a live show that the audience, no matter how big or small, enjoys and 3) Help whomever we can. Music is bigger than the band making it, and one of our biggest successes wasn't an award or show. It was when one of our biggest fans, and friends, informed us of the impact we had on his life. Our music and band helped him through a difficult time, which gave us more pride than any show or award ever could. That being said, we are very proud that we recently had the opportunity to share the stage with HammerFall, along with Flotsam and Jetsam, at Motorco Music Hall in Durham, NC in May and were featured in Fuel the Scene Magazine on "The Editors' List Of Kickass Bands That You Should Absolutely Be Listening To Right Now." Currently, our song "Jake's Song" is being featured on Rock 103's "next2rock" challenge.  Also in May, we released Vicious Cycle, our first EP comprised of five tracks.  \m/
