Now Ellae X. is returning and he’s armed with an anthem for Virginia called, “Dear VA.” Featuring fellow running mate, Bob O Sed and produced by Kelly Portis, Ellae X. hopes to add to Virginia’s wide range of talent and influencers.
“I have nothing, but absolute love to each and everyone of my fans. I thank you for all the support that you have shown me thus far. This journey is far from over. I got new music coming and the whole world gonna know about that ‘Southside, that 75’,” Ellae X. said of his rapidly growing fan base.
With plans for heavy promo on his third album, this Virginia rapper is hoping to provide fans with timeless classics.
“My plans for the next months are to work as hard as i need to and to get this music across the globe, God willing. I want to perform at big stage venues outside of Virginia and really show my fans a great time. Bio
An up and coming artist out of Portsmouth, Va or what Ellae X. likes to call, "The SouthSide, that 75'". He fell in love with music at the age of nine, penning songs in his rhyme-book. Soon there after,(2007)he started recording songs on his moms computer with "Sound Recorder" and a computer mic. Then went onto release some of his first songs on Myspace under the moniker, "L.A."
In, 2010, L.A. teamed up with good friend, Rad, and made music together as the group, "RiBz Ent." They went on to release songs for friends to hear testing the waters of their sound. In 2011, L.A. went on to change his name to "Ellae X." and with it birthed a new style in both wordplay and sound. The following year (2012), Ellae X. released his first project/mixtape titled, "HumbleBeginnings". The mixtape featured Ellae X., displaying his lyrical ability and witty word play over the popular songs at that time. In 2014, he released his second project and first album, "IV XL". This project featured Ellae X. displaying his skill over all original beats with stand out tracks like, "Rollin" and "3GoldChainz" and he released it on SoundCloud. In 2016, he released his third project and second album, "The Master's Piece". This album, Ellae X. grabbed the ears of many new fans and listeners with songs like, "Dear VA", "Ur Mine", and "Penny Loafers". In between projects, Ellae X. continued to release singles and music for fans to enjoy on soundcloud.
Along with releasing music, Ellae X. has performed at many venues,doing both showcases and open mics. Giving electrifying and memorable performances for fans and onlookers alike. He recited plenty of spoken word pieces at Churches and open mics. In 2013, Ellae X. performed for the first time doing music at "Paradigm", with running mate Bob O Sed. Then in 2014, he performed and auditioned for Shaggfest at "Sidelines" building both, better stage presence and fan-base. May 2015, Ellae X. went to Baltimore, Maryland performing at a Coast to Coast Mixtapes showcase. He auditioned to open up for Wale later that month. Summer of 2015, he performed at music festival in Virginia by the name of Shaggfest. There he had the pleasure to open up for Ma$e, Timbaland, Jidenna, and Rotimi. 2016, he headlined his own show at "Mood Mondays" at Venue on 35th. December 2017, Ellae X. had the opportunity to headline at a show Roger Browns and in 2018 he has already done multiple shows and showcases.
