Bio
Eli Gauden is an independent acoustic artist from Norway. She has a sound that can best be compared to artists such as Anis Mitchell, Joni Mitchell, and Gillian Welch. She writes in styles with long traditions; roots/folk/blues. It's easy listening and relaxing, and through the music she speaks with an honest and true voice that people can connect with. Eli was nominated for the Best MA songwriter Award 2016, and also received Berklee College of Music’s Songwriting award scholarship last year. She has the last 4 years played shows in Boston and Europe; in bars, cafes, official concert halls, galleries and other private events. Eli has earlier opened for Canadian artist Wendy McNeil of Spanish artist Hugo Mass. This coming May, she will finish her degree from Berklee College of Music, release a new EP(Follow me home). She'll tour on East Cost area for May, and Europe for June/July.
