Bio
Elan Vital was formed in 2013. Members include Javier Flores (guitarist) and Yalina Palomino (Lead Vocals). The two have been friends for many years and have played together in other bands. In 2012 Javier and Yalina decided to continue using their talents to write music by becoming a dynamic duo. The band's main focus is to write new material and continue performing throughout Southern California. Elan Vital will be releasing a full-length album in the winter of 2018.
The Definition of Elan Vital
According to French philosopher Henry Bergson elan vital (life force) is the creative impulse that shapes all life. Bergson stated original "life force" is passed down from one generation to another in all living things, and is the necessary creative force in an organism which produces growth, guides development, and produces new adaptations.
