Bio
We are -east avenue. We are a TrapGrunge band from Chicago, IL. We formed in 2015. We have played shows at Wire in Berwyn, IL, Reggies Rock Club, Beat Kitchen, and Bottom Lounge in Chicago, and The Forge in Joliet IL. We have also played a number of house shows on the west and south side of Chicago. We are a very committed band and try to promote everyday through all of our social media outlets.
Our sound consists of a mix of Trap and Grunge. We are just about done with our debut album Algorhythm. We have released 7 singles so far and a bunch of demo videos. We are currently working on a video for 2 of our 7 singles.
We are influenced by bands like Deftones, Tool, Alice in Chains, Nirvana and artists such as Chief Keef, Rihanna, 21 Savage and numerous others.
Our sound consists of a lot of dynamics, dark yet catchy melodies, quieter verses and heavier choruses. We are not just a typical grunge band. We our inspired by all kinds of music and are constantly seeking to evolve. Songs on our first album have more of a grunge feel but have trap elements. While a lot of ideas for our second album have more of a trap feel with dark grungy melodies.
