Best gig: "Different shows are great for different reasons. One that comes to mind was last May at a place called the Brat Stop in Kenosha. We never set foot in the club before and didn't know what to expect. We walked into an absolutely packed house and it was great."
Best song ever written: " 'Redemption Song' by Bob Marley or '(Sitting on) The Dock of the Bay' by Otis Redding."
Favorite cover song in your live show: " 'Iron Lion Zion' by Bob Marley."
Biggest band achievement: "Releasing the album and setting up the summer shows and tours."

""When people think of Milwaukee music, reggae is often not the first genre that comes to mind. The city does, however, have a world music scene, and Dub District is a standout amongst it. Formed in 2006, Dub District brings roots reggae to Milwaukee, and has picked up a strong following by doing so. The band has taken their show on the road, as well, touring nationally to support their self titled LP. They are also currently working with legendary reggae producer “The Scientist” on their next project, set to release in the near future. Led by frontman Ras Daniel, the group follows in the tradition of classic dub and reggae music, fueled with socially conscious lyrics. Their live show is also a unique experience, as well. Many of their shows are very free form, and they are always improvising on stage. According to their bio, “No audience gets the same performance twice or goes home unsatisfied”, and based on what we’ve heard from this group, we’d expect nothing less."" - BreakingandEntering.net
