Bio
Formed in 2014 in Aberdeen, WA, the Driftin' Harbour Rats are a little bit country, a little bit rock & roll, and a whole lotta fun!
Lead singer and rhythm guitarist John Prentice III set out to start a country band, stumbling upon former Angie and the Car Wrecks bassist Shawn Ball, on Facebook.
The two soon recruited a mutual friend, Steev Krauth, to play lead guitar.
The foursome was soon completed after John P met fiddler John Gibson at a local open mic night.
They spent the winter of 2014 perfecting their craft, and the summer of 2015 showing it off, with many gigs at local wineries, breweries, casinos, festivals, and even the local farmer's market.
