This body of work is extremely meaningful to me because it represents the journey I’ve been going throughout my life. To give you a little background about this EP, it’ll be recorded in Tampa, Florida with a Multi-Platinum awarded producer named Bryan Tyson at his studio Deep Productions. Bryan is associated with Atlantic Records and has worked with Plies, DJ Khaled, 2 Pistols, Nappy Roots, Tank, and Fat Joe just to name a few. I’ve worked with Bryan when I released my first self entitled I Am DrewB EP back in November of 2013 and have had excellent feedback from Facebook friends, fans overseas, and a few major producers via twitter of how profound my unique sound is. The feedback was greatly numerous and optimistic that most of the people encouraged me to get the song “Good Chance” (which they’ve enjoyed most) requested on the air. With that in thought that’s exactly what I did and in May of 2014 I’ve had my first radio interview at USF Bulls Radio with Slick Worthington and ‘Good Chance’ has been on the air and in rotation since. I’m also working with a co-producer for this EP who I’ll be recording with as well who goes by the name of Chad Collins aka C-Skills in Tampa, Florida. His production company is Grown Man Music which is ran and owned by Chad. Words cannot describe or express how excited I am about this opportunity to work with such gifted, talented, and professional people. I’m doing this Kickstarter project so that you can participate in getting my music out for not only to the people, but also for your enjoyment and entertainment as well.
