DJ YAS THE EMPRESS

Yasamen aka Yas Is a DJ and Model preneur from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Yas Got her start as a model in 2014 after serving six years in the US Army. She has walked  for platforms such as Pittsburgh fashion week,  Pittsburgh style week as well as working closely with designers which then led her to move to Las Vegas.  This  started her path as a brand ambassador model & entrepreneur.  Yas launched on the scene as a ModelPreneur when she moved back to Pittsburgh from Las Vegas in 2017 by creating a platform for creatives to come together to create quality content called THE ULTIMATE  POWERSHOOTS Events . 

With This success and experience being a ModelPreneur helped her gain a well-known following that allowed her to tap into the music industry by gaining experience with radio ,  music production, distribution ,and artist management by working with Grind Mode music world wide and focus groups with with labels like DEF Jam . 

Following her gaining experience in radio,Yas was introduced to using her first DJ controller In February 2019 where she quickly discovered her passion for music made her more of a natural that allowed  her to quickly become hometown sensation ,consistently booked for some of the most successful venues & top nightclubs in Pittsburgh. 

Yas is currently doing a podcast called Yas or Trash while she continues to build her audience . This platform helps give recording artist & producers  a platform to get their music heard as well as radio play . While she continues to crush her bookings she is  gaining more experience in her craft. 

Yas hopes to be a Live Nation DJ for some of the biggest concerts & Festivals . Also To  be a resident DJ for some of the worlds biggest nightclubs , also while being a tour DJ for recording artists . Yas’s biggest goal is to inspire the youth and her peers to follow their dreams no matter where they got their start . Yas & her siblings were  raised in the foster care system therefore making one of her main motivations to be a walking testimony and hopefully an inspiration to those who may have experienced similar things .
