Dez PlayaMade

Dez Playamade was born in 1989 [The Year Of The Snake] in East Waco, Texas. He first got into music as a young child at the tender age of six after he was introduced to the works of DJ Screw which lead to him being inspired to making his own freestyle cassette tapes which he would sell to people locally. Dez’s life experience helps shape his incredible talent for creating music, he lived in various cities across Texas until the age of thirteen when he was forced to move back to Waco to live with his grandmother due to differences.

When Dez turned fourteen he was introduced to “P.M.C.” aka the Playamade Clique it was around this time that the name of Dez Playamade was created. When Dez Playamade turned seventeen his career took a new path as a local independent record label began showing interest in his work as an artist.After that experience not materializing into the success he had hoped for he got back on his feet and began launching his own independent brand at the age of eighteen, it was around this time he began selling his own cds which lead to him making a profit of over twenty thousand dollars from the independent circuit this showed him the potential he had both as a musician/artist and also as a businessman.

Then Dez began studying about the business aspect of the industry in order to help further his career, after taking some time off to take care of his family and son he decided at twenty two that it was time for him to come back and reclaim his mark in the music industry. By twenty four Dez released his EP “Woo!” which lead to allot of great and positive responses from fans and critics, he followed this up with the mixtape “Money on tha Phone” the mixtape earned Dez the respect he deserves as he has now positioned himself with the right professionals to truly make his mark on the global music industry.
