In early 2008, raised in Windsor, Ontario and steeped in a deep love for music, Den-igan began writing songs with her homegrown set of lungs and an old 3/4 guitar.
Raw demos recorded in her basement circulated at open mics and shows around Windsor-Essex County, until in 2011 Den-igan independently released her first self-titled full length album.
Summer of 2013, saw the start of a side project with fellow music lover, Phil Griffin. Fueled by a love of grass roots americana and voices built to harmonize together, they began writing and performing songs under the name Daisy and the Baron. Despite living in different provinces they stay connected and continue giving your toes a reason to tap.
After living and performing in Vancouver for the last couple years Den-igan now resides in Guelph, Ontario. Concentrating on a full dedication to music with all there is to learn, writing her next full length album and planning her Canadian tour. She was recently voted top 25 of over 4000 applicants in the CBC Searchlight contest for Guelph-Waterloo and plans to continue sharing her music with the world.Although Den-igan is a solo artist, she is most often seen performing with a variety of artists during her shows. Whether backed by keyboard, percussion or bass, her music remains heartfelt and true.
