Hailing from the Bull City known as Durham, North Carolina, Hip Hop Artist and Producer, DEMIAH, began hitting the ground running with the music industry in 2007 by making use of his early childhood influences and performances that honed his craft and artistic merit.In the words of DEMIAH, “I’m pursuing music not only to fulfill my own dreams, but to also use it as a way to provoke change in urban communities”In the manifestation and artist development of DEMIAH’s career, he decided to first learn the technical aspects of music production by going to school and volunteering as an audio engineer for non-profit organizations and events. Eventually, the upcoming artist/producer ended up investing money into buying studio equipment for his home to pursue music hands-on. From there, DEMIAH recorded and produced songs for features, performed at community events and participated in rap contests.With over 8 years of experience in music production and audio engineering, DEMIAH has worked numerous shows, concerts, conferences and events held in the local area including national names like Jessica Reedy (runner up in BET’s Sunday’s Best singing competition), Hezekiah Walker, Marvin Sapp, John P. Kee, JesJen productions and George Bloomer (Host of TWN’s Rejoice In The Word), and many others. Among other highlighted projects, DEMIAH has also served as lead operating sound engineer during several television broadcast tapings held in the region for TCT and The Word Network while employed at LMI studios.In addition, DEMIAH opened the door with his company Wells Light. Wells Light is a budding entertainment company comprising of a music label and elite production services. His company mission is to educate, empower urban culture and communities through Hip Hop music and other various forms of entertainment.As a Recording artist, DEMIAH released his album in 2014 D.A.M.N (Discovering Art, Mastering Niche). The album gained moderate success with positive reception and critical acclaim, which has helped DEMIAH garner an insatiable fan base and internet presence.DEMIAH will be releasing a recording  & production project this winter. “This project is really important to me because it’s my official launching as a music artist and producer under Wells Light” says DEMIAH. “For years I have been an Audio Visual Specialist, but now it’s time to apply all of the years of study in music business to building a career as a Music Artist”.
