Mashing up sounds from punk, metal, and the rockin’ fifties like a wad of chewing gum stuck to the bottom of your Chuck Taylor's, these are The Death Row Romeos. Splitting time between San Antonio and Corpus Christi, they are Efrain Puga (Vox/Guitar), Al Kelly (Bass), Albert Inspected (Guitar), and Geno Garza (Drums). Since forming in 2018, they have been playing regularly in clubs around Corpus with raunchy riffs and dive-bombing drumbeats. Their name comes from the unusual practice of women enamored with murderous prison inmates. Their first E.P. "Flames are Amass", was released in 2019, followed by three singles in 2020 and 2021. The Death Row Romeos are all about rock and roll without taking themselves too seriously. How serious can a band be with songs like “That Girl’s a Trans-Am Man” and “I’m in Love With a Serial Killer”?
