DAY-GLOW FOXES is an alt rock duo from Worcester, MA. Despite being barely a year old, DGF has gained quite the reputation in the area for their unique blend of rock and synth pop and their electric and engaging live shows.
DGF was formed in July 2018 by frontman Sam Frechette as a solo project. Following the release of "A Long Time Coming", DGF's debut EP, John Baird joined the project as drummer. Since then, DGF has worked steadily to grow a fervent and involved fan base.
In March 2019, the duo released their first full-length record, "In Flames." This eleven track LP is a concept album exploring the themes of loss, guilt, and hesitant optimism. DGF's newest endeavor is "Foxes Season," a trilogy of EPs to be released over the course of summer 2019, each installment with its own unique style.
DAY-GLOW FOXES' influences include 2000s rock acts such as Green Day and the Killers, as well as synth pop artists such as Tears for Fears and Twenty One Pilots. DGF's sound has been noted for its strong 80s vibe with a modern twist.
DGF is currently releasing music on their own DIY label, Outside Ordeal Records.
